01 2 3 41 5is a sound advice.
0 stands for a single letter, other digits represent each a string of 2 letters, not necessarily disjoint.
Try to recover the original phrase.

original phrase? by Dej Mar)
Kudos, you have solved a D4.5 PUZZLE:
What I have coded was "PUT UP OR SHUT it". - a distorted version of "PUT UP OR SHUT UP", a valid English idiomatic phrase.
The D4 was assigned due to my anticipation of additional answers.
Btw, my initial version was A B or C B (TAKE IT or LEAVE IT)
as a pattern, A, B, C being distinct words, no length specified.
Maybe I will use it in the future.
