Good catch on # 3 - I should have listed it there since I had Hawaii on my list elsewhere.
Ditto for the Carolinas in # 5 -those are indisputably both 5 syllable names. I'm also conflicted about Pennsylvania - by analogy to California I'd also be tempted to call it 5 (Penn/syl/va/ni/a). But in common speech both Pennsylvania and California are definitely closer to 4 (with the last syllable as "nya"). I'm sure others from different locales will have their own opinions as well!
