a. Complete the title so it will help you to remember the Roman enumeration set (I V X L C D M) - either restore the original mnemonics or create one yourself.
b. Create a longest possible English word by adding an eighth letter to the above set, allowing multiple use of each letter.. Example: if E were your choice then DECIDED might be a valid option - you will probably find a better solution.
c. You are free to use the letter V as a letter U , but clearly not both.
d. Any word appearing in a respectable source is allowed.

Puzzle Solution: Part (a) by K Sengupta)
The longest word for parts (b) and part (c) I found is CURRICULUM, having 10 letters, which is achieved by using U in lieu of V, and adding R multiple times.
I found the longest word only considering part (b) as CIVICISMS, having 9 letters, which is achieved by adding S.
Additionally, 9 letter words are:
COCCIDIUM -> part (c) -> adding O
UNUNUNIUM -> part (c) -> adding N
SILICIUMS -> part (c) -> adding S
Some 8 letter words are:
MILLILUX -> part(c)
EXCELLED -> part (b) -> adding E
LEVELLED -> part (b) -> adding E
DECEIVED -> part (b) -> adding E
DEVILLED -> part (b) -> adding E
