Let's call K the amount a blacK cow gives in a day, and N the amount a browN cow gives in the same time. We can write (4K+3N)x5=(5N+3K)x4, so 20K+15N = 12K+20N. If we "lose" 8 black cows, we need only 5 brown cows to replace them, so the latter are the best producers.
