A case of misguided sheep. (Posted on 2006-06-23) |
|
I am a plateau, holding forty-two sheep.
The sheep are held in six sets of seven. The first, third, fourth, fifth and seventh sheep are black. The remaining two are white.
Someone using me to my full potential can even cause people to cry.
What am I?
This riddle should strike a chord with people with similar interests as me. I write this with plenty of strings attached.

The correct answer is: A piano playing all the keys in the chord Ebm7 within the standard piano range. There are six sets as there are six sets of Ebm7 chords on a standard piano. The sequence of keys follows the colour order stated, and to my knowledge should be unique to the chord Ebm7. And it should also be the "saddest" chord in music.
Maybe I should have set it as a D5 problem. |
