Crazy math? (Posted on 2008-10-10) Difficulty: 2 of 5
If:

13 + 10 = 24 and
19 - 11 = 7 and
5 x 4 = 29 and
14 / 2 = 4

What is 23 / 5?

Solution: (Hide)
Add 1 to each number to obtain (in decimal system):

14 + 11 = 25 and
20 - 12 = 8 and
6 x 5 = 30
15 / 3 = 5

So, 23 / 5 ===> 24 / 6 = 4 ===> 23 / 5 = 3
