“Each of their ages is one more than thrice the sum of its digits.”

Assuming it is true, what are the ages?

Pay attention: Algebraic solution says 13. But, practically neither the quantity of son nor the units of time stay undisclosed.
So 13 years or days, weeks or even hrs qualify as an answer as well as 5 sons each aged 13 of something, I, was aware of this fault but decided not to change the original puzzle.
Some solvers also detected the ambiguity defect.
