Who's the odd one out? (Posted on 2004-04-10) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Of the words listed below, one is "odd man out." This has nothing to do with the number of vowels, consonants or syllables. Can you find the misfit?

LUMP REAM SAGA PALM

Question re: possible s o l u t i o n S... | Comment 22 of 39 |
(In reply to possible solution by Joshua)

to WIMC:

There is no universal, 'absolutely true' answer.
Actually all the solutions submitted qualify.

And:
SAGA, the only "noun only", designated 28 (a PERFECT number--other are not!!}

REAM - 37 is the only prime number
LUMP- 62 - 6 AND 2 ARE FACTORIALS- otherS are not!!

and only PALM shares at least one letter with the other 3 words...

.........and my questions are:
Am I right or am I??
Will the official solution be clealy more obvious or more sophisticated than those above or some of other flooblers??
How many halves are in a half of a half?
Which of the 4 questions is a odd man (or a woman) out?
