Walking down an escalator (Posted on 2006-03-29) Difficulty: 3 of 5
On a working escalator, one man walking down it took 50 steps. Another man, walking three times faster, took 75 steps.

How many steps would each man take going down the same escalator during a power outage?

50; the man who took 75 steps was going up on a down stair case thus he had to take more steps quicker to go up than it took the man whom was going down the down stair case
