Press and hold ALT while you type the two- or three-digit number on the numpad. Numbers hyphened together make up one letter. Each line is one word. For example, the third line: "|3 () >< | |\| g" is a crude version of "boxing".

The sentence reads:

The five boxing wizards jump quickly.

It contains every letter of the alphabet, and that means it's a pangram.
