Bugs and Cubs (Posted on 2007-05-29) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Twenty creatures have been encoded according to the following rules.

u = a e i o u
b = b d f h k l t
c = c m n r s v w x z
g = g j p q y,

So, for example cucub would represent camel and buuc would represent lion.

Can you solve these? (If you find more than one answer, please let me know!)

No Josie,

Not offended.  I just thought it interesting that it was posted.  Normally very similar problems are rejected in voting.  I actually tend to enjoy your puzzles.  I really enjoyed ABCD.  I have to enjoy the puzzles that I am smart enough to solve. Many (most) just leave me scratching my head.

I really would have had no clue that it was so similar to the other puzzle had someone else not made the comment.  I imagine the reason they decided to remove the link to the other problem was to keep it a unique problem so that most people would not be able to use the other comment string for clues.

Thanks for the reply  I hope I did not offend you with my comment.

John
