A synonym for pure and, a synonym of hunted sound alike. In other words, they are homophones. Find them.

Irregardless as to how it might sound to a listener I would consciously be thinking "chaste (rhymes with waste)" and "chased (rhymes with raced)".

Chased-chaste would not be the first to be so classified but nothing immediately comes to mind.
