Paul is writing to his overseas sweetheart. He writes a steamy love letter, seals the envelope, and then inscribes the following cryptic address on the front:

                   Wood
                         Av 
                   Lynn 
                   England

Fortunately, the letter reaches its intended recipient (lucky Paul that the postman knew a lot about encrypting techniques). What is the complete name of Paul's sweetheart and her whole address?

Like other puzzlers I think it is Lynn Underwood of Andover England.

I wonder if their is any significance to Avenue being shortened to Av rather than the more common (at least where I am from) Ave.

Otherwise my only thoughts are along the lines of Missing, Unknown, Unnamed etc.

What do other puzzlers think?
